Land Development Consultant (Suits someone currently working as a Senior Negotiator/Valuer)

A confident self-starter is required to expand the Land team for this respected Independent Award Winning Estate Agency. The successful applicant will preferably have some Estate Agency experience and potentially some in the Land arena although this is not essential as full training will be given. 

You must be motivated, confident, organised, be able to build rapport at all levels, have a positive attitude and demonstrate negotiation skills. You will be responsible for sourcing new development opportunities either self-sourced or through growing relationships with internal staff and external contacts. Your ability to communicate with the general public and business contacts alike will be key in this role.  Being comfortable with private individuals, business owners, industry related companies, developers and peers will also be essential. In addition, the position will require assistance in the procurement and launch of new homes development sites working alongside local branches as well the Land & New Homes department.

The role is based in Wokingham. The geographical area will predominantly be the Thames Valley. You will report directly to the Land and New Homes Manager.

The main responsibility areas will be:-

  • Identify residential development opportunities
  • Investigate and follow up in-house leads as well as establish self-sourced sites
  • Develop a strong network of developer clients at all levels
  • Building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Help branch staff identify land and development opportunities and its importance to the business
  • Keep up to date with all planning matters and knowledge

Skills required

Excellent communication and organisational skills, an outgoing positive attitude, with the ability to build new relationships from scratch. This is a demanding and exciting role that is a key part of the companies expansion plan. 


  • Generous Basic Salary of upto 35k, Guaranteed.
