As part of that goal we are recruiting a Managed Services Data Analyst based in Manchester reporting directly to the General Manager.

 What the role is:

You will be responsible for supporting the Managed Services team with initiatives and projects to drive productivity and performance improvements. The focus will be on improving the collation and structure of management information for the department to drive timely and meaningful performance statistics.

 What you’ll be doing will include:

  • Review management information for all airlines within Managed Services and create a common approach to data collection and report collation to meet customer expectations
  • Streamline and centralise data collection methods to improve team efficiency and data accuracy

  • Provide support to the team for Managed Service initiatives

  • Analysis and checking of all data input of the Management Services function – including Billing, C-Base and Delivery notes – outlining analysis for key trends relating to inaccuracies

  • Manage own assigned operational projects to agreed standard and timeframes

  • Ensure own projects are competently planned, implemented and reviewed

  • Produce performance data and reports in line with customer expectations

  • Assist with process mapping, process capture, manual creations and setting of SOPs

  • Analyse and present data for reports and produce presentations as required

  • Identify opportunities for process change to improve performance or productivity

  • Support the production of Managed Services information in line with customer and operational requirements

  • Generating new ideas and actively implementing and promoting change

  • Filling documentation and other general filing, e-mailing, photocopying & faxing

  • Liaise effectively with your operational colleagues and colleagues in other Departments


What you’ll need:

  • Higher education/ graduate possibly in Business Information/ Administration
  • Organisational skills including attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels

  • Good numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and work within strict deadlines

  • Proactive nature and self-motivated with the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative

  • Understanding of data analysis and statistical tools 

  • Good presentation skills

  • Strong skills in Outlook / Excel / PowerPoint / Word

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
