CLASS 1 DRIVER

Savanna Staff Solutions are currently Looking for a CLASS 1 DRIVER

Driver for a Logistics Company in Slough on a 13-week Temp to Perm Basis. Your daily Duties will be:

• Driving a Terberg tug (exp. preferable but not essential)
• Movement of Multiple trailers per shift
• Reporting of any damages to trailers to traffic office
• Night shift and day shift rotational 4 on 4 off

All Candidates for this CLASS 1 DRIVER Role must be 25 years or Over and you will need the following experience:

• Current C+E Category Licence held over 2 years
• Current CPC and Digi card, with knowledge of manual entry
• Good Communicator English Speaking and Writing
• Confident Driver with a willingness for Overtime preferred (to cover Holidays and Sickness)

Our Client is Looking for CLASS 1 DRIVER to join a busy team at their slough depot, to start as soon as possible.  Powder (tank) shunter training given once you have started so you can learn while you earn.

Our Client gives First refusal on more days before any CLASS 1 DRIVER work is offered out to anyone else, so you will easily be working 5 -6 days thus almost doubling the Salary offered.

Hourly rate at present through Savanna dependant on hours and weekdays, weeknights, Saturday, Sunday:  £14 £15 £16 £17  

After 13 weeks you will then go onto the client’s books, at a salary of £28,475 basic (likely to rise)
