Technical Project Manager / Product Support Specialist (Attend Anywhere) – Remote Work – NHS

VIQU Recruitment are supporting a Welsh NHS Trust who are urgently looking for a Product Specialist / Technical Project Manager / Product owner to join them on a contractual basis until 31st March 2021.

The successful applicant will become the technical specialist for a bespoke application known as ‘Attend Anywhere’. This is a video consulting application that enables people to have health and social care appointments from home or wherever is convenient. 

This role is fully remote and does not require any travel to site. The successful Product Support Specialist will receive full in-depth training on the application. Once up to speed, they will then work alongside / report directly to the Programme Manager, as this is rolled out across NHS Wales, liaising with and supporting numerous healthcare project teams / departments and Suppliers.

You will be expected to:

  • Provide advice and information, in some cases complex issues, on all areas relating to Attend Anywhere
  • Assist in day to day issues relating to the application (Support, bug fix, resolve inconsistencies and complex issues)
  • Inform the development and configuration of Attend Anywhere to reflect user requirements and workflow
  • Provide support, guidance and training for project teams and staff across sites and across disciplines
  • Support in promoting the effective use of Attend Anywhere, providing user support and expert advice to a range of individuals and groups

Key Skills:

  • You will have experience as a Project officer / Technical Project manager / Product owner / ICT Project Manager
  • Excellent Communication Skills with experience liaising with Stakeholders and Suppliers
  • Problem Management / Incident Management / Risk Management
  • Problem Solving, can recommend and make final decisions in relation to actions required to restore functionality and use
  • Experience of software application / infrastructure life-cycle management, and the activities involved in application / infrastructure development / change, with specific knowledge of the relevant products
  • Any experience Supporting Clinical applications or Video Conferencing applications would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strategic and pragmatic thinker focused on outcomes and the bigger picture with the confidence to engage constructively to challenge established approaches.

This role is an immediate requirement, with interview slots available week commencing 17th December 2020
