Job Description

 We are looking for a conscientious, enthusiastic, organised person to provide support to our finance team in Cambridge.

The person applying for this role should be a quick learner, flexible, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working under their own initiative. They will ideally have a positive and practical approach with good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Director of Investment for SSIC with coordinating travel, expense submissions and related reporting. Travel to London 2-3 times a month for meeting (40% of role)
  • Maintain Purchase Order process and ensure POs are raised timely by the business
  • Monitor Service Requests in SSC platform tool and liaise with SSC on invoices, POs and queries
  • Provide support to the business on expense submissions (eg. Run weekly workshops, update FAQs)
  • Maintain Finance intranet page and templates
  • Maintain Finance filing systems
  • Input invoices into the ERP system
  • Assist with projects. eg. Bi-annual finance health checks, including fixed asset verification
  • Support the finance function with administration, reporting, weekly, monthly and year end and holiday/illness requirements (SCSC and SDRC)
